What is the difference between SEM vs SEO

The basic difference between SEM vs SEO is, SEM promotes websites by making them more visible on search engine result pages through optimization and paid advertising while, SEO refers to search engine optimization. SEO improves a websites ranking organically. It doesn’t involve paying for better search result rankings, but rather utilizing on-page optimization such as keyword density, frequent original content updates, social sharing and sitemaps to get results.

What is SEO

SEO is the process of optimizing your web site for the purpose of getting free traffic from search engines. SEO is about optimizing your website to get better rankings in the search results. It involves other methods that can get you more search engine visitors like PPC advertising.
There are two Types of seo :
  1. On Page SEO
  2. Off Page SEO
