The beneficiary will receive Rs.15000 in total by the State Government. Under this scheme, benefits are being provided to girls under six categories, details of which you can see below.
Under this scheme, the amount will be released in various stages, such as vaccination, birth, admission in class 1, 6, 9 and graduation level.

Eligibility for Kanya Sumangala Yojana
If you want to avail the benefits of Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana, then you will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- The girl child and her guardian must be permanent residents of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- Any girl child born after April 1, 2019, can also benefit from this scheme.
- A maximum of two children per family can benefit from this scheme.
- Any family with an annual income of less than ₹3 lakh is eligible for this scheme.
- A valid mobile number must be entered along with another number when applying.
- There is a provision to provide benefits under this scheme to girls from poor families.
- Girls of all religions, castes, and classes will be able to benefit from this scheme.

How to apply for Kanya Sumangala Yojana?
All eligible families in the state can apply to benefit from the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Scheme. They can complete the application process by following the steps outlined below.
- First, open the official website of Kanya Sumangala Yojana, https://mksy.up.gov.in/.
- On the home page of the website, click on the option “New User – Register Yourself”.
- A registration form will open, requiring you to enter all the required information.
- After entering the information, complete the registration process by clicking on the “Register” option.
- After registration, you will receive a user ID, which will be used to log back into the portal.
- After logging in, the application form for the scheme will open, which must be carefully filled out.
- After completing the application form, you will need to scan and upload the relevant documents.
- After completing this, click on the “Submit” option at the end.
- After doing this, the process of online application under Kanya Sumangala Yojana will be completed.
