How to create and download a health card under the National Digital Health Mission?
If you wish to get a Health ID card under the National Digital Health Mission, you can visit a Common Service Centre or a cyber café to have it made. If you have an Aadhaar card, you can also apply for it from the comfort of your home.
- After visiting the website, click on the ‘Create Health ID’ option.
- Select either the Aadhaar number or mobile number option to create the card.
- You will receive an OTP upon entering your Aadhaar number or phone number.
- You will need to verify it by entering the OTP.
- A form will then appear, requiring you to provide details such as a profile photo, date of birth, and address.
- Once you have provided all the information, your digital health card will be generated and ready for download. This card will also feature a QR code.
Even if you visit a hospital in another city, your data can be accessed using the unique card, which assists doctors in providing treatment. Currently, patients are required to keep track of their treatment-related files and reports; losing a file can lead to significant inconvenience.
