Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is an initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Government to help the women in the state. Under the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 1,500 per month is being provided to the eligible woman. Ladli Behna Yojana was started to empower the women of Madhya Pradesh state and lakhs of women are getting its benefits.
Many women face financial difficulties, so the state government has launched this scheme. This scheme aims to empower married women in the state by providing them with financial assistance of ₹1,250 per month.
Currently, approximately 10 million women are benefiting from this scheme. Initially, each woman received ₹1,000, but the grant was later increased to ₹1,250 per month. The state government will soon give Rs 1500 per month to women.
Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana
The Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana was launched by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on March 5, 2023. Under this scheme, women will be provided financial assistance ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000 per month. At present, women are being given financial assistance of Rs 1250/- per month.
This step of the state government will help women in meeting their daily needs as well as in educating and nourishing their children. Funds received under the Ladli Behna Yojana are transferred directly to the female beneficiary’s bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The state government will spend approximately ₹60,000 crore on this scheme over five years.

Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana Eligibility Criteria
Like other schemes of Maharashtra state, applicants must have certain eligibility criteria to apply for Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, these are
- Applicants must be a resident of Maharashtra.
- Applicants must be married; divorced and abandoned women can also apply.
- Applicants must be between 23 and 60 years of age.
- The applicant’s annual family income must be less than ₹250,000.
- No family member will be eligible to pay any taxes.
- No family member should be employed in government service.

Applicants must submit certain documents when applying for the Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana. These are:
- Aadhaar Card
- Residence Certificate
- Residence Proof
- Family ID
- Family Income Certificate
- Ration card
- Bank account number (must be linked to Aadhaar number)

- Passport size photo
How to apply for Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana
The application process for the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna Yojana has been reopened. If you wish to apply, you can do so by following the steps below.
- To avail the benefits of the scheme, you will need to visit the Panchayat office/ward office/government camp.
- You will now need to collect the Ladli Behna Yojana application form.
- Now fill out the application form and attach the required documents.
- Submit these applications to the official at the designated location (Panchayat office/Ward office/Government camp).
- The official will now submit the application form online after taking the applicant’s current photograph.
- After submitting the application, you will receive a registration ID with a number.
- Applicants can then check their application status by visiting the Ladli Behna portal.
After the female applicant’s application form is approved, a monthly assistance of ₹1,250 is transferred directly to her bank account. If you are a resident of Madhya Pradesh and have a female family member, you can apply for the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana.
